Art is scaling new heights all across the globe. Good artworks all over the world have a huge and excellent market. Indian art market is growing like never before. It is gaining recognition and valuations are rising globally. The demand for Indian art is rising due to the fact that it is extremely undervalued and has huge growth potential.
Indian art market is attracting an increasing number of new investors due to the fact that growth of the art market in India is set to grow exponentially. The most wonderful thing about Art is that it has both aesthetic and economic value. It keeps gaining in value with time. It is a lucrative investment option and provides portfolio diversification.
After the tremendous success of its earlier art portfolio schemes CAP Series I and Series II and due to the ever increasing demand of art lovers, art collectors and existing CAP collectors, Copal Art is now launching Asia’s biggest delivery linked art portfolio scheme known as ‘Copal Art Portfolios – Series III’, for Rs 150 crores.
CAP is not a collective investment scheme like other art funds. Art portfolios are constructed to suit individual needs, by a panel of senior art experts. The portfolios consist of artworks of undervalued and future growth artists, who have been identified by Copal after extensive and thorough research work has been carried out. The artworks allocated to the collector/investor in their portfolios are delivered to them along with a Certificate of Authenticity and Invoice. He/She owns, loves and lives with art. It is an investment that brings job forever.
Copal is a very big investor in art. It has an existing art bank. Copal acquires artworks at reasonable prices for its art bank. CAP provides portfolio management, insurance, maintenance, packing, shifting and transportation related advisory services free of cost, for an initial period of three years. CAP investors/collectors have the option to sell their artworks through the Copal website again free for a period of 3 years for which subsequently a nominal fee will be charged by Copal. We also prepare a six monthly ‘Fair Market Value’ (FMV) for individual portfolios. The core strength of CAP lies in identifying under-valued art.
The overwhelming response, exponential returns and extraordinary appreciation corroborate to the success of Copal Art Portfolio Scheme and also indicate the growing inclination of investors in art.
Some of the artists of CAP are Rabindra Nath Tagore, Abanindra Nath Tagore, Jamini Roy, Ram Kumar, Ganesh Haloi, Jogen Chudhary, Thota Vaikuntam, Akhilesh, Kishore Shinde, Neeraj Goswami, Veer Munshi, Prabhakar Kolte, Jyoti Swarup, Siraj Saxena etc.
